Privacy policy

Respect for confidentiality is part of my profession — both as a lawyer and as a mediator. On this page I explain what personal data I process when you visit amiabil.com or contact me, for what purpose, and what rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Who processes the data

The data controller is lawyer Laurențiu Tudorache, a member of the Ilfov Bar and an authorized mediator. You can contact me with any question regarding personal data at contact@amiabil.com or by phone at +40 764 376 537.

2. What data I process

• Data sent through the contact form: name, phone number, e-mail address and the content of your message.
• Data you send me directly by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp.
• Statistical browsing data (Google Analytics) — only if you give your consent through the cookie banner.

3. Purpose and legal basis

• To reply to you and schedule an appointment — steps taken at your request before a possible engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• For anonymised statistics on how the website is used — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

Information relating to a specific case is protected by the lawyer's professional secrecy and by the mediator's duty of confidentiality.

4. How long I keep the data

Messages received through the form or by e-mail are kept only as long as necessary to reply to you and follow up on your request. If we start working together, the data is kept in accordance with the professional and legal obligations applicable to lawyers and mediators.

5. Who the data may be shared with

I do not sell or rent personal data. Data may be processed, strictly on my behalf, by the technical providers needed to run the website:

• the web-hosting provider (Hostinger) and the e-mail provider (Zoho), through which I receive messages;
• Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics) — only if you have accepted analytics cookies;
• YouTube (Google) — only if you choose to play a video; no YouTube content is loaded until you click;

6. Cookies and local storage

• Strictly necessary local storage: the website remembers in your browser your cookie choice and the fact that you closed the information notice. This information never leaves your device.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, _ga, _ga_*): set only after you click “Accept”. You can change your choice at any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, the right to object and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise them, write to me at contact@amiabil.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (www.dataprotection.ro).
