The mediation procedure

Mediation stages

The mediation process is structured to ensure effective communication and an amicable resolution of conflicts.

The parties shake hands after concluding a mediation agreement
  1. Informing the parties

The first step consists in explaining the mediation process, its principles and advantages. I inform you about confidentiality and about the mediator's neutrality.

  2. Preparing the mediation

I analyse the context of the conflict and, together with you, set the meeting schedule. The mediation contract is signed.

  3. Mediation sessions

The actual discussions, in which the parties present their points of view. I facilitate the dialogue and help you identify common solutions.

  4. Finalizing the process

If an agreement is reached, it is drafted as a mediation agreement, which has the value of a private signature document.

What happens after the agreement is signed?

The mediation agreement can be authenticated by a notary, attested by a lawyer or confirmed by the court, thereby acquiring the legal force of an enforceable title.
