In order to be able to identify the usefulness of mediation, we must know what duties the mediator has and what obligations. Also, we need to know what competence it has and what legal “power” the mediation acts have.

What I want to clarify from the beginning is regarding the general territorial competence of each mediator. According to the current legislation, the mediators can conclude the mediation in any locality in the country, provided they are included in the Authorized Mediators’ Table and have the fees paid to the Mediation Council.
